Wells for Well-Being Background

Wells for Well-Being started in 2008 after my dad had returned from a deployment to southern Sudan where he was a UN peacekeeper, it was then when I realized how bad it really is out there yet how much easier than I thought it would be to change that.  In life here in Canada we have access to clean water, good health care and a good education. Of those I think that water is the most important because bad water causes most diseases in Africa so with clean water health care is not needed as much. If there is a school but no access to clean water then kids still need to travel long distances and miss school to go get some water that is likely to make them sick and miss even more school, giving them a poor education.  With water at least you can survive fairly well even if it means you don't get the other necessities of a good education or health care.

Together I think we can make a difference in the world.
